陕西省人民政府副省长的来信
尊敬的Jim Leape,世界自然基金会全球总干事:
您5月16日的来信收到，非常感谢你及世界自然基金会全体员工对中国四川大地震灾区以及受地震影响的陕西灾区人民所表达的哀悼和同情。
世界自然基金会中国项目办公室捐赠陕西受灾地区大熊猫栖息地的小型发电机、帐篷等救灾物资，我们已通过灾区宁强县政府转交大熊猫保护区。我谨代表陕西省人民政府表示感谢。
我们相信，陕西地震灾区的群众在省政府的领导下，一定会战胜各种困难，万众一心，重建家园。一定会在大熊猫保护方面进一步加强合作，保护好这里的生态环境。

Dear Jim Leape, Director General of WWF International:
I have received the letter of May 16. Thank you and all staff of WWF International, especially WWF China Office very much for expressing sympathies and condolences to people in Sichuan and Shaanxi affected by great earthquake.
The minitype dynamotor and tents etc. donated by WWF China Office have been transferred to Panda Nature Reserve through Ningqiang County Government (earthquake area). I am on behalf of Shaanxi provincial government to acknowledge to you and China Office.
We believe that, under the leadership of Shaanxi Provincial Government, the local community must overcome the variety of difficulties to reconstruct own homeland and protect ecological environment with panda conservation with WWF cooperation.
